Waiting on Wednesday #19

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jill @ Breaking the Spine where you share an upcoming release that you're anticipating on reading.

I'm waiting on..

Expected Publication: July 31, 2012

From Goodreads:

So wrong for each other...and yet so right.

No one knows what happened the night Echo Emerson went from popular girl with jock boyfriend to gossiped-about outsider with "freaky" scars on her arms. Even Echo can't remember the whole truth of that horrible night. All she knows is that she wants everything to go back to normal. But when Noah Hutchins, the smoking-hot, girl-using loner in the black leather jacket, explodes into her life with his tough attitude and surprising understanding, Echo's world shifts in ways she could never have imagined. They should have nothing in common. And with the secrets they both keep, being together is pretty much impossible.  Yet the crazy attraction between them refuses to go away. And Echo has to ask herself just how far they can push the limits and what she'll risk for the one guy who might teach her how to love again.

Why I'm waiting?

1) The Cover.
How can you resist that hot, steamy, CAN I BE THAT GIRL?! cover? Honestly, there is just no no no way. If I had a guy just about ready to kiss me like that..all up against the lockers.. holy hell, we would not be talking right now. So DUH. This cover kills me. I just want want want!

2) Echo Emerson.
First of all, how bad-ass is that name. Not just for anyone, but for a girl! Some people don't care for names, but for me, the cooler the name the more I'll remember the character. It's just the way it goes. Second of all, what is up with these freaky scars on her arms!? And what happened to make her go from being all popular to being not so popular? If you ask me, I want to know! Like bad. Plus she can't even remember what happened on this night where all bad things happen. MAN. This book is SO up my alley.

3) Contemporary Me.
I'm into dark dark, pitch black, freaky weird sh*t sort of novels. It's just my thing. I rarely read contemporary, but just know I'm the one who picks up the contemporary books that  A) Make me bawl my eyes out like nothing or B) Deal with dark, mysterious, secretive aspects of life that are so true it makes my skin crawl. Anyway, Pushing the Limits has piqued my interest because I feel it's got that realism, dark, super in-depth emotion that I adore in comtemps. This book is begging to be read.

4) The Blurb.
The blurb doesn't give away much, which I totally love, because it keeps you wanting more more more and more before even opening the book. It drew me in and well, I'm so hooked I've been wanting it to be July already. The unknown, the mystery, and the suspense I feel while reading the blurb makes me want to pull my air out in frustration because DAYS. ARE. NOT. PASSING. FAST. ENOUGH.

5) Noah Hutchins.
First, I love the name Noah. Second, I love me a good, well-developed, Oh My God he is to-die-for BAD boy. And Third, Where the heck can I get one!? LOL. I am so feeling this Noah character already. GUESS WHAT!? I hear some parts of this book is in his POV!! *runs around in circles* Holy smokes, right? I'm so in. He wears a leather jacket, (*dies*) has a tough attitude AND I hear he's broken. BROKEN. I love me a broken boy. <3 If he's not enough to convince you to add this one too, well I don't know what will!

6) HarlequinTEEN.
This book is published by HarlequinTeen, people! Need I say more!?

Will you be adding Pushing the Limits to your endless waiting lists? I sure as hell hope you do ;)
