ReVamped Blog Tour: Character Interview + Giveaway

Hey everyone! I'm very excited to be participating in my very first Book Blog Tour, ever. I'm even more honored to be one of the stops for the ReVamped Blog Tour presented by the ever amazing Bewitching Book Tours. 

I got a chance to interview Ethan! He's one of the love interests for, Dawn, the protagonist of ReVamped. He's cute, funny and just downright swoon-worthy! You guys will love him. And I must tell you, that I have already claimed Ethan for my own, so look out girls! ;)

- Thanks for taking the time from your busy day to do this interview. Can you tell my blog readers a little bit about yourself? Your hobbies/past times, etc?

My name is Ethan Summers, and I was born in Dallas, Texas. I just celebrated my twenty-third birthday. I’m fairly new to Angel Creek, and I currently work as a bartender in the town’s only diner. You and your friends should come by sometime. I fry some mean fries! I love to spend a lot of time outdoors, though I didn’t have much time for that this summer. I enjoy fishing, camping, hiking, as well as all sports (football and baseball are my favorite).

I think my blog readers and I will certainly stop by the diner. But I doubt any of us will be able to focus on eating fries, lol ;)

- What's one happy childhood memory that sticks out to you?

Back in Dallas, when my mom and dad were still together, they used to take me to my aunt and uncle’s ranch to swim in this beautiful lake on the property. It was such a simple memory, but I remember both of them laughing, completely absorbed in their love for each other. It’s memories like that that make me question how things could have gone so awry…

Oh, Ethan. I know. *pats Ethan on the back*

- What was your first impression of Angel Creek and how are you liking it so far?

I really like how simple and peaceful Angel Creek is. The people are great, and I like my job at the diner. But my early impressions of the place are filled with memories of Dawn. When she arrived, Angel Creek suddenly became a lot brighter and more interesting. And a lot more complicated. In a good way, of course.

- What's the craziest thing you've done in the name of love? How far would you go?

Apparently, taking an arrow and a bullet for the same girl in the span of one summer is considered crazy by some. I would do it all over again, if it meant protecting Dawn.

Aww, you are too sweet Ethan. Maybe one day you can save me from an arrow or bullet? Better yet, just save me, lol. 

Speaking of love and Dawn, let's talk more about her..

- What was your first impression of Dawn the first time you saw her? What was going through your mind?

I was mesmerized by her eyes. She has such beautiful eyes, but there is much more than simple beauty reflected in them. They are full of strength, curiosity, and even a bit of innocence.

I guess at one point I was wondering why she was staring at me and not saying anything. Then I realized she wasn’t the best at forming coherent sentences in certain situations. It was really adorable.

Yes, I know what you mean. That scene was just *sigh* but completely funny!

- If you could take Dawn anywhere, where would you go and what would you do?

I would find a lake like the one my parents brought me to, and take her swimming. She’s been through so much this summer, I think she needs to unwind and have some fun. I’d love to give her at least one full day of not having to carry any burdens on her shoulders.

I completely agree. Dawn needs a break. That lake you plan on taking her sounds  absolutely lovely.. *sighs longingly* 

- Can you describe Dawn in three words?

It’s hard to just choose just three words that would best describe her. She’s brave, caring, and even a little shy. She’s also smart, beautiful, and funny. I could keep going, but I believe that I’ve already doubled my quota.

- How do you feel about Sebastian? Do you think he's big competition for you when it comes to Dawn?

He’s a vampire, I’m a human. Right off the bat, Sebastian and Dawn share something that we cannot have. But that doesn’t mean that he’s the right guy for her. If I can be honest, he strikes me as somewhat of a jerk—though I would never say that to Dawn. I know that he cares for her safety as much as I do, but there’s so much about that guy that I don’t know. I just hope he can be trusted to not hurt her.

Ooh! I think we shouldn't repeat those things to Sebastian anytime soon! He may break a tree branch or two. lol. But I think Sebastian cares for Dawn too, but no worries Ethan, you know I love you <3

                                                                 

Random Quick Fire Round:

- Last thing you bought?

Axe Body Spray. *looks down and blushes* Wanna smell good for Dawn.

*chuckles*

- Color of your room?

Uhh, I’m still staying at the Angel Creek Inn until I find a permanent place here, so my walls are currently a pale lavender color. Please don’t laugh!

Laugh? At you? Never. You are just too wonderful, Ethan

- Favorite time of day?

I like dawn. There’s something so great about being up at the first sign of light, while the rest of the world still sleeps peacefully. I used to run every morning, and loved the feeling of fresh air in my lungs. I think I’ll have to pick it up again.

You like dawn huh? I wonder why.. lol

- Best subject in school?

I was always pretty good at science. My mom is a doctor, as you know, so whenever she had some free time, she would teach me things about nature, the human body, and the world. I really wanted to go to college for veterinary school at one point, but that, of course, had to be put on hold for a while.

- One thing you can't be without?

Family. And now, Dawn, of course. I made her a promise that I would never let anything bad happen to her again.

Christ, you are too adorable for your own good! 

First thing you think of when you wake up?

I’ll give you one guess. After that, pancakes.

lol! Could that be something that starts with a D and ends with an awn? ;P

Million dollar question: Team Bella or Team Alice?

Hang on a sec…

*taps foot impatiently*

*two minutes later*...I had to ask Hannah and Brooke what that meant, because I had no idea who Bella and Alice were, and what teams they played for. Thankfully, the girls just told me their life stories. Alice seems like she would be a great friend, but I’m always Team Dawn!

I should have figured you'd bring it all back to Dawn! :)

About the Author:

"Many people sing in the shower. I, on the other hand, write scenes in my head and act them out."

At age five, Ada read her first chapter book - Pippi Longstocking. Ever since that moment, she developed an intense passion for the stories and characters found within the pages of literature.

In her career as an actress and a writer, Ada currently spends most of her days immersed in imaginary worlds. Much like the characters she enjoys playing and writing about, Ada is a martial artist with a Black Belt in Shotokan Karate. She is also a big proponent of lifelong learning, and has attained Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (it aids in creating characters with unique quirks!) as well as a Master's of Science in Education.
