Untold by Sarah Rees Brennan (The Lyburn Legacy #2)
Expected Publication Date: September 24, 2013
(ohmygodkillmenow)
Free from bonds, but not each otherIt’s time to choose sides… On the surface, Sorry-in-the-Vale is a sleepy English town. But Kami Glass knows the truth. Sorry-in-the-Vale is full of magic. In the old days, the Lynburn family ruled with fear, terrifying the people into submission in order to kill for blood and power. Now the Lynburns are back, and Rob Lynburn is gathering sorcerers so that the town can return to the old ways. But Rob and his followers aren’t the only sorcerers in town. A decision must be made: pay the blood sacrifice, or fight. For Kami, this means more than just choosing between good and evil. With her link to Jared Lynburn severed, she’s now free to love anyone she chooses. But who should that be?
Why I am waiting in silent agony?
Have you heard of death by book #1 ending? Well, I've been experience this "death" ever since I finished Unspoken and had the fortunate misfortune to read such a deargodpullmyheartoutnow type of ending. Seriously. Oh, so I'm saying that book was killing me softy? HELL NO. It was killing me very loudly and hard and a fast and painfully so. (God, why did that whole sentence sound derogatory?)
Damn, Sarah Rees Brennan. Damn. I bow down to you and your great tortuous writing ways and your ability to stomp on my heart, shatter it, burn it, put it back together then shoot it dead. *whimpers*
Anyway, back to point. Why in the name of all things Jared Lynburn am I waiting? I just mentioned it. JaredpleasebemineLynburn. Yep, I love the boy so much I shall marry him and have his 3.2 kids, but the boy is a massive idiot. And Kami. OhmyKAMI. I miss her wit and snark and detective journalistic ways. And I miss lines like this:
“Hark,” he said, his tone very dry. “What stone through yonder window breaks?”
Kami yelled up at him, “It is the east, and Juliet is a jerk!”
Jared abandoned Shakespeare and demanded, “What do you think you’re doing?”
“Throwing a pebble,” said Kami defensively. “Uh… and I’ll pay for the window.”
Jared vanished and Kami was ready to start shouting again, when he reemerged with the pebble clenched in his fist. “This isn’t a pebble! This is a rock.”
“It’s possible that your behaviour has inspired some negative feelings that caused me to pick a slightly overlarge pebble,” Kami admitted.”
And all the teasers that have been coming out, yeah... By the time Untold comes out, I'll most likely be inconsolable. I've never been so passionately desperate about a book in my entire life and I don't know whether to thank Brennan or possibly kidnap her and tell her to hand Jared over as ransom. Wait, did that make any sense? sweetheaven, somebody put me out of my misery.
In other news, what are you waiting on?
I haven't read Unspoken but I have heard people really went crazy over that ending. Curious to read it now myself but I should probably wait for the sequel to come out first!

I still need to read the first one, but I hear that I'm going to want to read this one right after, so I might wait it out for now...
