Finals Week Hiatus

It's that time of the semester where Finals Week is raging and overtaking my life. I may have read my notes like a billion times last week and now that FW is here, I'm reading them another billion times for good measure. Really, it's insanity I tell ya.

Because my edumacation (lols) is my main priority at the moment, I must take a blogging hiatus! BUT just for this week. I need to focus on studying like the mad woman I should be and get A's! Right? *wishful thinking*

This basically sums it all, yes? Study=Evil.

Who wants to study anyway? *sigh*

So please please forgive my absence. Of course, I'll be on twitter because really, who can stay away from twitter even for a day? I sure as hell cannot. 

I will be back with the usual posts probably by the weekend. I'll have some serious catching up to do, reading wise. I best to get off before I end up like this...

Farewell dear friends! Don't be like me and procrastinate to the very last minute because it will bite you in the ass later. Why I do it anyway is beyond me! Wish me all the luck because I certainly will be needing it.

Finals Week Hiatus!

Hey guys!

I completely procrastinated when it came to school this semester and well, today is the start of Finals Week! *cue ughhhhs*

Yes, I have been dreading this time of the semester for the longest time and now that it is here, I am so under prepared. It didn't even hit me that it was finals week until last Friday when I realized I had so much to study for in such a little time. So.. because I'm terrible and didn't think this thing through, for this week, I will not be posting anything with the exception of a review on Tuesday and a blog tour post on Friday! Those are the only posts that will go up while I beat my head against the desk for not studying sooner!

I do apologize for such a late notice, but I really do care about my education, like a good student should, LOL, so I will handle my business and by the end of Friday, I'll be planning more blog tours, and interviews and giveaways galore since it's summer time! Plus, I'll have more time to read and write reviews! That's awesome, yes? :)

I will still be on Twitter because I am a twitter addict and I cannot help myself. I'll be participating and helping my fellow #DaemonInvasion team mates under our team name hashtag: #DaemonsDreamTeam. :) I'll also be updating my progress on my studying and how the exams are going on twitter as well!

Again, I am sorry! I hope you continue to stick around while I am gone for the week! I'll be studying like a madwoman and trying my hardest to get through these final exams that I'll be having back to back. Bare with me and I promise the summer will bring lots of awesomeness for Words, Pages, and Books! <33

Temporary Leave of Absence

Hey Everyone!

The title of this blog is correct. I'm sad to say that I must take a temporary leave of absence, a hiatus if you will, for FIVE DAYS possibly six. It's not anything serious, so there's no need to worry or panic.

THE DEAL.

School started a month ago and so far everything was running smoothly. But these past few weeks, I've been finding myself getting drowned more and more with assignments and upcoming exams and papers. This week is no different. I have three exams for three different classes and a paper due at the end of the week. It doesn't sound like much, but I hate how it's back to back to back. I need this week to focus on getting through the work and get this week past me. Because of the unfortunate events of my school life, I wont have any posts scheduled up for this week at all. That means no memes, no cover reveals, no reviews, no NOTHING. This makes me really sad because I've tried so hard to juggle my school life with my blogging life as easily as I could and I thought I was doing such a great job until now. 

My Apologies in Advance.

I want to say sorry to everyone and anyone who supports my blog. You guys have been amazing, supporting me through all this. I hope I haven't disappointed you guys in any way. I hope you guys understand, and I'm sure you do, that I need this week to just focus. I cannot promise you that this will not happen again in the future, but I'll try my best to schedule my time better so that I do have posts up even if and when I am gone. 

The Plan.

My hiatus will only be for six days, max, starting today. I'll use my last day of absence to catch up on any reading that I haven't finished already and to write reviews. If anything should go wrong, I will let you guys know. I plan to come back with a post on Sunday (2/26) for my IMM post if I get anything while I'm away studying my brains out. If I get nothing, I will post something else in its place. That I promise.

What's to Come.

Even with my absence, I already planned the Cover Reveal for The Vincent Brothers by Abbi Glines. That will definitely go up on the 25th. I cannot deprive you guys of the awesomeness of it. Also, when I come back I will be posting, what I feel is my best review, for Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor. I've also realized that because school will be colliding with my blog life, I'll probably be reading all my review books once I get back so I don't have to worry that I won't have my review up in time. This means I'll have to set aside my TBR pile once again. *sobs*

I'm hoping that I get through this week with grace and pass all my exams. A week seems like forever to me. I've been blogging for a very very short time and I'm already in love with it. I'm in love with the community and all the bloggers a part of it and of course, ALL OF YOU! I will miss you guys terribly so. Thanks again for all your understanding and support. I'm hoping to get 100 followers soon so I can hold a giveaway for you guys, but alas, we're still at 78. No worries though. I'll get there and we can celebrate like there is no tomorrow. lol. Going Dark (sort of)

I was supposed to post up my Waiting on Wednesday today, but unfortunately finals have officially begun. I'll be studying like there is no tomorrow until my last final next week, Tuesday. I'll come back with my WoW since I'll need that Tuesday night to recover one hell of a week. I also apologize for the lack of posts last week as I haven't decided what to post what on certain days. I'm just posting as I go. As a note, I won't have a review this weekend. Possibly not even next week either depending on how much I'm able to read and finish by then. I'm compensating by reading two books at once! I've never done that before. Hopefully all will work out. Also, I will post my IMM this week, but other than that I will be MIA. I've already had my post planned out so I might as well just schedule for it to go up! I wanted to schedule my posts for the rest of this week that way I don't have to worry about 'Going Dark.' However, my planning skills totally failed me and my professors moved up finals, screwing up everything. For now, I must tend to my education and try to pass these exams. I won't be completely dark. I'll be on Twitter, but my tweets have been (and will be) lacking because of said finals. I hope you guys enjoy the rest of your week and take care always. Until next Wednesday everyone!
