#EthansLegion: ReVamped Relay Update

Hi #EthansLegion members! Ren and I are super thrilled and excited to have all of you on board for the ReVamped Relay! I'm sure we're all going to have such a fun and fabulous time reading and discussing ReVamped! I really loved ReVamped and I hope each and every one of you do too! 

I'm giving you guys this update because I finally got the copy of ReVamped that we're going to pass along with 20 or so bookplates that have been signed by Ada Adams, herself! 

Each member, as of today, will receive a signed bookplate! The line up for the book to be passed along will go like this (list is subject to change):

So far that is the line up. I'm waiting for Ada's go before I ship the book to Gianna. Once I get the go ahead, I will contact each and everyone of you via email letting you know the relay has officially begun. 

Remember, this is a relay and we're trying to get the book to each and every one of you while still gaining more readers and spreading the book across the country. I don't know how fast you guys read or if you have time in your schedules (since things happen, right?) so I do not want to force you guys to read the book in a day or whatever. I want you to take your time. No matter what, each and every one of you will get a chance to read the book whether it be this round of the relay or the next.

Also, you may write a message within the book as long as you do not write it on actual print of the book and as long as it is not inappropriate. I encourage you to write your thoughts or messages to Ada or to the following team members and readers who will see it. I will be writing a message as well  :) <3

Once you finish reading ReVamped, please fill out this FORM. 

Make sure you have posted your review on either your Blog/Twitter/Facebook/Amazon/B&N/Goodreads account. Just one link is needed.

Just in case you guys read like lightning, we may finish early, right? Thats why I wish for you guys to pass the book within your hometown/state that way we get more readers (and points) added. I've said this before: the reader does not need to be a book blogger, just a a dedicated reader so you can definitely pass the book to your mom, dad, sister, brother, cousin, and friends. You are responsible for  letting them know the rules after reading ReVamped and how they must post their review. If the person you pass the book to doesn't have a means of posting a review, you must post the review for them in order for their points to count for our team.

To Do This:

All you have to do is get their review/opinion and email the following information to revampedrelay@gmail.com:

Your Name, Name of Person You Passed the Book to, Their Location (city&state),  Their Review provided by You. 

(Ex: Ren W., Jessirae L., San Diego, CA,  Review or Review Link).

If you do not wish to post the person's review on your accounts, Ren or I will post the review on Twitter so the points will count for our team.

If your family member/friend or whoever would like signed bookplate, please email me (same email address above) with the address on where to send it, whether it's yours or theirs. 

I ask of you guys to please keep track of the book if you are passing it to a family member/friend or other. You will be responsible for passing the book along after them to a Team Member listed above. We are all on an honor code, so please please please pass the book along. It is a privilege for us to be able to read ReVamped in this manner :)

A simple mission turned deadly.

I know that purchasing print books can often be costly. I also know that many readers prefer to read print copies vs. electronic ones. Therefore, I devised a fun, interactive, and economical way for readers to get their hands on a print copy of ReVamped!

On May 10^th, I will be sending out 5 print copies of ReVamped to five ReVamped Relay Teams, hailing from different corners of the world (Canada, United States, United Kingdom, Australia, and Asia)!

The teams are headed by five amazing bloggers (see below for their information). These bloggers (who have already read and loved ReVamped – yay!), will be responsible for starting off the ReVamped Relay and passing on the print copy of the book to interested readers. The readers may consist of fellow book bloggers or “civilian” readers.

TEAM FIVE? – (Asia)
I am looking for a dedicated team leader from ANYWHERE in Asia who read and *LOVED* ReVamped to join in on the fun! 

How can you join the ReVamped Relay? Simply contact the Team Leader closest to you (through Twitter or Email). If you are emailing, please include the team name in the title of the email, so that it doesn’t end up in the spam folder and can be viewed by the right team leader.

 The readers will:

1. Read the book.

2. Post a short review (anywhere!)
Suggested places: Blog, Amazon, B&N, Goodreads, Twitter, Facebook, etc.
The review could be as short as one or two sentences or longer. You can even Tweet the review and it will count. Just make sure that you save the link.

3. Email the following information to your Team Leader:
Your Name, Location, Review Link. Please ensure that your team name is in the email title!
(ex. Sarah A., Toronto, Canada, www.amazon/twitter/facebook/goodreads/reviewlink.com)
*Why is this part of the relay important? Read the “Prizes” section to find out!

4. Share the book.
It’s up to the reader to choose who to share the book with. This could be a friend or a family member, someone from school, someone in another town, or someone from a completely different corner of the world! Please ensure that this person is interested in reading ReVamped and participating in the relay, so that we can make sure they will also pass on the book. Ideally, the goal is to see how far the book can travel, and how many homes (and hopefully hearts!) it can reach. Do you have to spend money for shipping? No. You can pass it on by hand. If you want to ship, that’s great as well. The Team Leaders can also be responsible for getting people onto a team reading list, so do check in with them.

5. Bonus.
Sign your name and add any comments into the Reader Notebook that will be travelling with the book. Feel free to sign your name in the book as well!

*Please understand that the Team Leaders and I are doing this with the belief that all participants will follow an honor code and pass on the book after reading. This is a fun way to read a book, connect with friends, as well as make new ones along the way, so you need to be an active, enthusiastic, and honest participant for it to work.

Now, for the prizes!

Every month, we will tally up the readers from each of the five teams. This is why it’s important for everyone to sign in after finishing the book. The team with the largest amount of points will be declared that month’s winner!

Point System:

• 1 point for each group member that signs their name
• 1 point for each city that the book travels to
• 2 point for each state/province that the book reaches
• 3 points for each different country

Example:
A book that makes its way from Toronto, ON to Buffalo, NY to New York, NY and reaches ten readers.

• 10 members: 10×1=10
• 3 cities: 3×1=3
• 2 states/provinces: 2×2=4
• 2 countries: 2×3=6
• Total Score: 23

All members from the winning team will be placed in a draw for ReVamped goodies (print copies of the book, posters, bookmarks, etc.) 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd place winners will be declared every month. The numbers are re-set after each month, and a new tally starts up, so that every team has an equal chance of winning each month. However, the member names don’t re-set, so if you were part of the Month One team, you still can win during the Month Two or Month Three draws.

We will be following you and RT-ing along the way! If you want to support the relay, without participating (especially if you’ve already read the book), feel free to cheer for a certain team or Tweet about the relay to help spread the word. Every month, I will also be selecting a random non-team member Tweets for a little prize based on their #ReVampedReley Tweets. I love all my readers and allReVamped‘s fans and want to give you the opportunity to also play along.

Just remember, even though this is a contest, it’s all in good fun! The main idea is to get ReVamped out to some readers that may not otherwise have the opportunity to get their hands on it!
